Shaft

The shaft wood of our cues is made of high-quality North American ash or maple, which has been naturally air-dried for at least two years.
The taper of the front support is carefully planed by a master with 30 years of experience in cue making to ensure that each cue can give full play to the extreme sense of play.
Besides what we have demonstrated, we accept customer supplied materials and customized solutions.

The shaft of all cue shafts is made of high-quality North American ash or maple. The diameter of the selected log must be more than 40 cm, and the growth period is not less than 50 years. The special opening method of cue shafts is used to ensure that each plate is straight. After 40 days of manual drying, the boards will be naturally air-dried for at least one year, and then the boards will be carefully screened by professional pole makers. Each board will be marked, positioned and cut, and sawed into battens not shorter than 130 cm. Each batten will be inspected by pole makers and registered and coded according to their grades, and then naturally air-dried in the warehouse for at least one year before they are qualified to be used as shaft wood for cues.

The hardness and elasticity of each log are different because it comes from different logs or from different positions of the same log. Usually, the closer the wood is to the core, the higher its hardness is, while the elasticity is correspondingly weakened. At the same time, the closer the wood is to the core, the smaller its annual ring diameter is, the more unpredictable the change of the grain pattern is, and the beauty of the grain pattern will drop sharply. Moreover, during the growth of trees, they are more vulnerable to wood damage such as insect pests, animal bites, wind bending and so on, so the core material is more likely to show scars, curves, holes and other defects, which cause bright or dark appearance and performance damage to the cue. Therefore, we completely abandon any core material. Only the wood with the bark 3cm inward and the tree core at least 20cm outward and in line with the pole grade is selected as the raw material, which is commonly known as the white material. Therefore, the yield rate of the shaft material is very low, and the high-quality shaft material is even rarer, which is also the objective reason for the high price of the high-quality shaft!

Each piece of wood stored in the natural environment, with the passage of time, after experiencing the baptism of various natural conditions such as changes in temperature and humidity, the wood structure will become more stable, the organic matter in the wood will gradually decrease, the texture will be harder and more transparent, and the wood will gradually undergo color changes, especially in the finished cues. They become the best! We cannot guarantee that each piece of wood will be stored for more years, but we have a detailed record of the storage time of each piece of wood or cue shaft to ensure the authenticity and traceability of the storage time! In view of the fact that there are many cases of exaggerating the storage time in the market, we allow customers to order the wooden blank or the shaft of the cue. Customers can sign on the shaft and we will store it properly. 5% of the grade value of the cue shaft is used as the annual storage fee. The finished cue will be made after the customer's notice, and the storage time of the wood will be marked on the product certificate to show the noble status of the cue!

Although we have a professional selection of each piece of wood and exquisite workmanship, we still cannot guarantee that each piece of wood can become the expected cue shaft! Therefore, for customers who customize cues, we will try our best to select the appropriate grade of wood to make the cue shaft and collect a deposit according to the customer's requirements. However, if there is a difference in the level of the cue shaft, we will deal with it according to the following scheme:

First, for the difference in the level of the grain pattern of the cue, its uncertainty is inevitable. Therefore, if the grain pattern grade of the actual cue is different from the predetermined grade, the actual grade will be charged.

Second, if the hitting feel grade of the shaft of the manufactured cue is higher than the predetermined grade of the customer, it is necessary to communicate with the customer. If the customer accepts to pay the balance at the price corresponding to the hitting feel grade, we will install the label of the corresponding grade. If the customer does not accept the price of the corresponding hitting feel grade, we will collect the balance according to the reservation and install the label of the predetermined grade accordingly, but we will explain it in the product certificate.

Third, if the grade of the manufactured cue is lower than the predetermined grade, after communicating with the customer, if the hitting feel grade is lower than the predetermined grade, the customer can refuse to accept the cue, and our company will produce a new cue. Or, the customer can pay for the completion grade and we will install the completion grade sign.

There are three levels of cue feeling:

Level 1: U series, named "Guanyu" in Chinese. For the highest level of playing sense, the series is named after the English word "Universe," which is homophonic to the Chinese word "you," and pays tribute to the "ULTIMATE" series of JP cues!

Level 2: G series, named "Gaishi" in Chinese. For the excellent level of playing sense, the series is named after the English word "Galaxy," which means that the stars are brilliant and the future is infinite!

Level 3: C series, named "Chuanqi" in Chinese. For the first-class level, the series is named after the English word "Classic," which means to inherit the classics and inspire the future!

Any cue that can be selected for our level of playing sense is made by the master with ingenuity and the best of the best, and will live up to the trust of our customers!

The classification of the arrow pattern of the cue is into three levels:

Level 1: Marked with the number 1, this is the highest level of arrow pattern. The standard is that the main sword has 4 to 8 swords, and the back sword is a smooth back or a regular sword;

Level 2: Marked by the number 2, this is the second-best arrow pattern level, with the standard of 4 to 8 swords, and the standard of regular or inverted swords;

Level 3: Marked by the number 3, this is the first-class arrow pattern level, and the standard is that the main sword has 4 to 10 swords, and the back sword is the regular sword pattern.

The stability of the cue is the first priority, so we must not sacrifice the stability of the cue structure in pursuit of the appearance of the sword pattern. We must strive for the best embodiment of the sword pattern on the premise of ensuring that the side pattern is top-notch and ensuring the feeling of hitting!
